Collaboration Oekaki

Christmas is early this year!
From now until Christmas day we're letting users upload One picture a day from any medium.
For each upload however, you must comment on another picture within the hour of uploading.

New users will have to provide an Art Url and draw at least one Oekaki in the Piggy board, or three in the piglet board. This is to prove that any picture you upload belongs to you.
If you do not currently have Upload acess, Omail TealGeezus.
Please note that you are not allowed to upload photos and images that do not belong to you.

We apologize for keeping this new layout from you, but hopefully you'll see it as a nice surprise. If you have any questions, concerns or problems please Omail an admin. Also, I'd like to direct your attention to that bold-font link on the far right of the leftmost links on the userbar (opposite to the 'Draw!' link). Along with the Rules, there is also basic information about each board.

The Piggy Oekaki is reserved for medium length drawings, meaning anything that will honestly take twenty minutes or more to complete. I'd like to stress that there is no 'class system' on pOnju and that users of all skill levels are encouraged to draw on any board they see fit, but we do require that you put the appropriate amount of effort into your pictures.

Dark dark gray fur, dark purple hair, green eyes, silver antlers, gold bracelets, with a black collar and red gem in it.

Yeah, I've never actually tried Chibi Paint before and I was won over by how easy it is to blend. I did kinda mess up the original line art after I somehow lost the layers.

uh I dunno I wanted to make line art so I decided to post something on the collab board
s'one of my characters but go crazy with the colors
also for some reason there are some random spots that are not white on his face [something I might have missed] but the line art layer is layer 3, set on multiply so you can color on layer 2. layer 1 was the old line art, so if you want to use that then I guess it's easy to figure out

so yeah I dunno lksjdf /ramble

I want to color this but I have never used chibi painter. when I try to do anything it doesn't show up, no matter what layer I try it on. The only thing that shows up is if I use the straight line and bezier tool, but then it shows up no where near where I put it! wtf... x.x

uh. you sure you're drawing on "layer 2"? everything you have that is open is more than enough for you to color but... maybe the opacity/brush size is too low. I dunno, that's kinda weird. "layer 1 copy" is set on multiply which I made sure to do before coloring but
i dunno maybe you should try again? chibipaint is such a good program too 8(

Ive had this problem before if I Recall. smiley

I checked the opacity, it all should allow me to draw but it does not. Sigh.

Another pet peave of mine is that in shi-painter I cant activate brush sensitivity so I can do thin to thick lines just by pushing harder with my tablet if I use it. I did everything girlninja said, but the [p] doesn't turn on the sensitive mode u.u

I love that you made it all a cohesive picture, and I LOVE the blue tint on the antlers!

I guess you could say this hit close to home. My first bout with art appreciation came from marvelling at one of my dad's Yes album covers as a child. This one to be precise: http://tralfaz-archives.com/coverart/Y/yesi2.jpg . This painting was my introduction into fantasy landscapes. It's gone downhill since smiley
